video Crates & The Steam Marketplace

With the amount of recent discussion about Payday 2 getting their share of Micro Transactions… It finally gave me the reason to continue working on my bit on the Steam Market place! So here is my discussion/rant/thing enjoy. Let me know what you think!

Let’s clarify; I’m not saying that all companies running this practice are evil. I’m just stating that games that are running this system are basically running a money printer… so you can hardly blame them. I would like one of those weapon skin money printers 😛

Also for anyone that wants the mindset of companies to change, the best way is to tell them. By not playing engaging with their game. This means not buying those micro-transactions that you don’t like. Alternatively you can show them by completely not playing.

I think personally something that PD2 did wrong was the same thing Diablo 3 did wrong it’s the fact that power “can” be bought, may it be minimal or even in a co-op game. People don’t like that! This is also the only difference with other games like CS:GO, H1Z1 or TF2

I’ve been playing games as long as I can remember, I’ve practically grown up on free-to-play games starting with games like the now 14+ year old RuneScape. I make it my job to try out every single free-to-play title out there, always looking for that gem in the rough! I’ve been wanting to make content for years, but never had the computer to do so. When I finally did start, I made a Tera First Look video which has received over 950k views on YouTube (audio sadly bugged after YouTube reformatting). Not much has changed, I still have that itch to try out every single game, the only thing different is that I’m now here and WILL tell you what is good, bad and ugly about the games coming out and the industry as a whole. I do not shy away from putting my opinion out there even if that might not align with everyone. :)
